About the Author

Reinaldo Aguiar is a researcher and apprentice tactician with a diverse background spanning software engineering, entrepreneurship, technology, and high finance. A former engineer at Google, Twitter, and a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, he is named as the sole inventor on two U.S. patents awarded to Google Inc. His career focused on building innovative systems that generated hundreds of millions in revenue. This journey, from building systems for tech giants to exposing a global surveillance conspiracy, represents a unique perspective on the dark side of Silicon Valley—written by someone who helped build the very technologies that were weaponized against him, and who learned to turn those weapons back against his surveillants.
